Get Smoother Skin With Micro Botox Facial Injections

Micro Botox injections are a popular cosmetic treatment that can help improve the appearance of your skin. The procedure involves injecting a small amount of botulinum toxin into the facial muscles. This relaxes the muscles and reduces the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines.

Micro Botox injections are quick and easy, and there is no downtime. The results can last for up to four months.

What is the micro-Botox treatment?

The results of micro-Botox injections can last for up to four months, and there is no downtime required after the treatment.

How much does micro-Botox treatment cost?

The cost of micro-Botox treatment varies depending on the number of injections required. Typically, one session of micro-Botox injections can cost between $300 and $500.

Are there any side effects of micro-Botox treatment?

If you are considering micro-Botox injections, it is important to consult with a qualified cosmetic surgeon or dermatologist to ensure that the procedure is right for you.

Difference between micro Botox and regular Botox injections

The main difference between micro Botox and traditional Botox injections is the amount of botulinum toxin that is injected. Micro Botox injections use a smaller amount of botulinum toxin, which results in a more subtle effect. Regular Botox injections use a larger amount of botulinum toxin, which can result in more visible results.

Benefits of Micro Botox

There are many benefits of micro Botox, including:

Perfect for acne-prone skin

Acne and blemishes can give your skin a rough texture, uneven tone, and dull appearance. If you’re struggling with blemishes, you may want to consider micro Botox injections.

Micro Botox can help improve the appearance of acne-prone skin by reducing the size of the sebaceous glands. This helps to reduce the production of sebum, which can clog pores and lead to breakouts.

Reduced appearance of wrinkles and fine lines

The treatment can also help to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines. Botulinum toxin works by relaxing the muscles, which can help to smooth out the skin.

Micro Botox injections can also help to improve the appearance of crow’s feet, forehead wrinkles, and “11” lines between the eyebrows.

Smoothing of rough skin texture

If you have a rough, uneven skin texture, micro Botox can help to smooth it out. The treatment can also help to improve the appearance of pores.

Tightening of loose skin

As we age, our skin starts to lose collagen and elasticity, which can lead to sagging and wrinkles. Micro Botox injections can help to tighten loose skin and improve its elasticity.

The treatment can also help to reduce the appearance of stretch marks.

Clears skin tone

Micro Botox can help to even out your skin tone by reducing the production of melanin. This can help to lighten areas of pigmentation and give your skin a more even appearance.

It can also help to reduce the appearance of age spots, sun spots, and melasma.

Brightening of the skin

If you have dull, tired-looking skin, micro Botox can help to brighten it up. The treatment can also help to reduce the appearance of dark circles under the eyes.

Can be used on all skin types

One of the great things about micro Botox is that it can be used on all skin types. Whether you have dry, oily, or combination skin, you can benefit from the treatment.

It is important to note that micro Botox is not a substitute for sunscreen. You should still use sunscreen every day to protect your skin cells from the sun’s harmful UV rays.

Relaxation of muscle tension

Micro Botox can also help to relax muscle tension. This can help to improve the appearance of TMJ (temporomandibular joint) disorders, migraines, and teeth grinding.

The treatment can also help to reduce the appearance of a “gummy smile”.

Reduces the size of sebaceous glands

Sebaceous glands are responsible for producing sebum, which is an oily substance that can clog pores and lead to breakouts. Micro Botox injections can help reduce the size of sweat and oil glands, which can help to reduce the production of sebum and the occurrence of breakouts.

Consult Your Personal Physician

If you’re considering micro Botox injections, it is important to consult with your personal physician or a qualified cosmetic surgeon or dermatologist first. They will be able to assess your individual needs and recommend the best course of treatment.

They will also be able to answer any questions you have about the procedure and the potential side effects.

The Bottom Line

Micro Botox injections can offer a number of benefits, including reducing the appearance of wrinkles, fine lines, and age spots. The treatment can also help to improve the appearance of rough skin texture and brighten up dull, tired-looking skin.

If you’re considering micro Botox, be sure to consult with a qualified cosmetic surgeon or dermatologist first. They will be able to assess your individual needs and recommend the best course of micro Botox treatments.

Get Rid of Wrinkles and Saggy Skin by Opting Morpheus!

If you are concerned about your appearance and would like to look younger, there is no need to turn to expensive and invasive cosmetic procedures. Morpheus 8 is a new, revolutionary skin treatment that can help you achieve the results you desire without surgery or downtime. Can you really get rid of wrinkles and saggy skin by opting Morpheus or Botox attracts you like everyone else?

Morpheus8 is FDA-cleared and has been shown to be safe and effective in clinical studies. There are no major side effects associated with the treatment, although some patients may experience minor discomfort, bruising, or swelling. The results of Morpheus8 can be seen over time, with optimal results typically achieved after three to six treatment sessions.

How Does This Treatment Work?

Unlike Botox Treatment, Morpheus8 uses a device that emits radiofrequency energy. This energy penetrates the skin and heats the tissue beneath the surface. The heat helps to stimulate the production of collagen, which can lead to smoother, firmer skin. As we age, our bodies produce less collagen, which leads to wrinkles and sagging skin. By increasing collagen production, Morpheus8 can help to reverse some of the signs of aging.

What happens during the treatment??

Morpheus8 is a minimally-invasive treatment that can be performed in your doctor’s office. First, the area to be treated will be cleansed. A gel will then be applied to help the device move smoothly over your skin. The device will be passed over the treatment area multiple times, emitting radiofrequency energy as it goes. The entire treatment usually takes less than an hour.

You will not feel any pain and the gel will help to keep you comfortable during the treatment. Afterward, there is no downtime associated with Morpheus8. You may experience some redness or swelling, but this should dissipate within a few hours.

Morpheus8 can improve the appearance of wrinkles, fine lines, and saggy skin. It can also help to improve the texture of your skin and give you a more youthful appearance to your aging skin.

It takes care of sagging skin & loose skin

There are a lot of things that can cause saggy skin. Age is one factor, as our skin gets thinner and less elastic as we get older. Gravity also plays a role, as it pulls down on the skin. Weight loss can also lead to saggy skin, as can pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Morpheus8 can help to tighten, lift saggy skin and improve skin laxity. The radiofrequency energy heats the tissue beneath the skin’s surface, which helps to stimulate the production of collagen. As collagen production increases, it can tighten loose skin. This can help to reverse some of the effects of aging and weight loss, and it can also help to improve the appearance of stretch marks.

It can be used to improve the appearance of wrinkles & fine lines

Wrinkles and fine lines are another common sign of aging. They occur when the skin becomes thinner and less elastic. Gravity, sun exposure, and smoking can all contribute to the formation of wrinkles.

What You Should Do and Don’t After Breast Augmentation?

What You Should Do and Don’t After Breast Augmentation?

After your breast augmentation surgery, there are a few things you should do in order to ensure proper healing and avoid any complications. First, it is important to get plenty of rest and avoid strenuous activity for at least the first week after surgery. You should also keep your incisions clean and dry, and avoid any activities that could irritate them. Additionally, you will need to wear a supportive bra for at least six weeks following surgery. So, let’s see what you should do and avoid after breast augmentation.

What is breast augmentation surgery?

Breast augmentation surgery, also known as augmentation mammoplasty, is a surgical procedure to enhance the size and shape of the breasts and it is quite different than breast reconstruction. Breast implants are commonly used to achieve these results. It is mostly performed for cosmetic reasons, but can also be done to correct a birth defect or reconstruct the breasts after injury or mastectomy.

How Do Breast implants work?

Breast implants are made of either silicone gel or saline. They are placed under the breast tissue or under the chest muscle to create fuller, larger breasts. With saline implants, a silicone shell is filled with sterile saltwater. With silicone gel implants, the silicone shell is filled with a cohesive gel. The more recent “gummy bear” implants are made of a type of silicone gel that is thicker and less likely to leak. It is possible to get breast augmentation without implants but the results vary.

Let’s Talk About The Do’s First

There are always certain things you should do with any surgery to ensure proper healing and avoid any complications. With more and more people opting for breast enhancement surgery, it is essential to know what you should and shouldn’t do afterward.

1. Get Plenty of Rest

After your breast augmentation procedure, it is important to get plenty of rest. This will help your body heal and recover from the procedure. Try to take it easy for at least the first week after surgery. Avoid any strenuous activity, such as working out or lifting heavy objects.

2. Keep Your Incisions Clean and Dry

It is also important to keep your incisions clean and dry. This will help prevent infection and ensure proper healing in the recovery process. Gently clean the incisions with soap and water, and be sure to pat them dry. You should also avoid any activities that could irritate the incisions, such as wearing tight clothing or using lotions or creams on the area.

3. Wear a Supportive Bra

After surgery, you will need to wear a supportive bra for at least six weeks. This will help support your breasts and prevent them from moving around too much. It is also important to avoid underwire bras during this time as they can put pressure on your incisions and cause irritation.

4. Take Your Medications

As with any surgery, you will be given medication to help manage pain and discomfort. Be sure to take these as prescribed by your doctor. You should also avoid drinking alcohol or taking any non-prescription drugs, as they can interact with your medications and cause side effects.

5. Follow Your Doctor’s Orders

All breast augmentation patients must follow all of their doctor’s orders after surgery. This includes attending all follow-up appointments and taking care of your incisions as directed. If you have any questions or concerns, be sure to contact your doctor right away.

Now let’s take a look at the don’ts

While there are certain things you should do after surgery, there are also certain things you should avoid. Let’s see the don’ts after breast augmentation:

1. Don’t Smoke

Smoking can delay healing and increase the risk of complications after surgery. If you smoke, it is important to quit at least two weeks before your surgery date. This will help your body heal properly and reduce the risk of complications.

2. Don’t Drink Alcohol

It is important to avoid alcohol for at least two weeks before and after surgery. Alcohol can interfere with your medications and delay healing. It is also important to avoid drinking while you are taking pain medication as it can cause side effects.

3. Don’t Take Non-Prescription Drugs

You should also avoid taking any non-prescription drugs, such as ibuprofen or aspirin, as they can interfere with your medications and cause side effects. If you are in pain, be sure to take your prescribed pain medication as directed by your doctor.

4. Don’t Forget to Take Your Medications

As mentioned above, it is important to take your medications as prescribed by your doctor. This includes antibiotics and pain medication. Be sure to take them as directed in order to prevent infection and manage pain effectively.

5. Don’t Ignore Your Symptoms

If you experience any symptoms after surgery, such as pain, redness, or swelling, be sure to contact your doctor right away. These could be signs of a complication and need to be treated as soon as possible so see your plastic surgeon immediately.

Now that you know what to do and what not to do after breast augmentation surgery, you can help ensure a smooth and successful recovery.

What are the risks of breast augmentation surgery?

As with any surgery, there are some risks associated with breast augmentation. These include bleeding, infection, capsular contracture, and implant rupture. Additionally, you may experience some pain and swelling in the recovery period. Be sure to talk to your doctor about these risks before having surgery.

You should also be aware that breast implants are not guaranteed to last a lifetime. Most implants will last for 10-15 years before they need to be replaced. Additionally, you may need additional surgery down the road to correct any problems that may arise.

Bottom Line

With any surgery, there are some risks and potential complications. However, if you are considering breast implant surgery, be sure to talk to your doctor about the risks and benefits. Additionally, follow all of your doctor’s orders after surgery to help ensure a smooth and successful healing process.

After reading this article, you should now have a better understanding of breast augmentation recovery. You should also know what to expect after surgery and how to take care of your implants. Be sure to talk to your doctor if you have any questions or concerns.

Boost Your Self-Confidence with Mommy Makeover

Boost Your Self-Confidence with Mommy Makeover

Mommy Makeover, a word that can instantly capture the attention of mothers all around the world. A mother can go through many different phases and experiences from a bloated tummy to childbirth and breastfeeding. It is an amazing and awe-inspiring transition of a woman’s body.

However, these significant changes can often lead to a slightly dissatisfied self-image. Breastfeeding your baby can cause the breasts to lose their shape and become saggy and the strain and stress of carrying and delivering the baby can widen hips and loosen up the abdominal muscles.

Most mothers have problems getting back the shape of their bodies after these transitions into motherhood. It makes sense that you want to have your old body back but it can be a daunting task for many. If it is so then you are not alone, thousands of other mothers are dealing with “baby weight” and sagging skin.

Even if you lose this, it is quite difficult to get a flatter tummy. You can obviously use a healthy diet and physical exercise, but it still doesn’t get you where you really want to be. Mommy makeovers are the solution to this problem.

What is a mommy makeover?

Mommy makeover is a very popular cosmetic procedure that has helped many women across the United States to get their pre-pregnancy shape and body back. It is a combination of different surgical and non-surgical cosmetic procedures that help mothers bring back their old well-toned bodies.

The components of a mommy makeover

A mommy makeover involves many different procedures that can help the body get back in better shape. The most common procedures are often carried out on the breasts, as pregnancy can cause them to increase in volume by over 50% or more. Apart from this, the abdominal muscles are also affected as during childbirth they are stretched. A mommy makeover has different surgical procedures that can treat all these areas and give a healthy body back to mothers like a breast lift or a tummy tuck.

The procedures that are carried out in a mommy makeover include:

  • Tummy Tuck
  • Liposuction
  • Breast Surgery (Breast Augmentation, Breast Lift or Breast Reduction)
  • Labiaplasty

Filtering through plastic surgeons

There are countless cosmetic surgeons out there, ironically all of them claim to be the best at plastic surgery. You need to be vigilant and cautious in choosing the right cosmetic surgeon for yourself. You can go around to check the credibility of the plastic surgeons you want to visit online easily. There are real patient reviews available that will help you decide what plastic surgeon you should really visit.

You should also look for the before/after pictures of the surgeon you want to visit to actually see what kind of results they have produced and whether you want these changes in your body or not.

What happens during a mommy makeover consultation?

It can be a bit confusing for some mothers as to what really goes down during the initial examinations of a mommy makeover procedure. The doctors are usually quite easygoing and it really helps out in easing into the examination procedure. Usually, the doctor would examine your body and ask you about your medical history, and then suggest the procedures that he thinks can help you in getting a better and well-shaped body. You just need to be honest with the doctor about what kind of results you expect so that the whole procedure is grounded on the basis of your expectations combined with what can actually be achieved.

How can a mommy makeover benefit me?

Mothers that are breastfeeding can often experience weird sensations in their breasts paired up with a swelling in the breasts. Not only this, oftentimes there is a risk of infection in the sagging of the stomach and abdominal walls due to the stress and strain of childbirth. There are exercises and diets that can help in easing the whole situation but they are not permanent solutions. With all this going on, mothers can also face a constant moody feeling and a feeling of dissatisfaction with the physical appearance of their bodies.

A mommy makeover can help in alleviating almost all these problems for good. With a better-looking body, a better sense of self-image is developed that uplifts the mood. Apart from this, the health benefits are also quite extraordinary as the abdominal muscles are tightened from the tummy tuck and breast swelling is reduced with a breast lift or breast implants.

Why choose a Board-Certified Plastic Surgeon?

Choosing a board-certified plastic surgeon should be on top of your priority list. Trusting someone with your body is a big decision, trusting the wrong surgeon can result in a lot of damage which is sometimes irreparable. A board-certified cosmetic surgeon has the experience and skills required to successfully get you the results that you want after the cosmetic procedures are finished.

Dr. Jim Brantner M.D. is a board-certified plastic surgeon with years of experience under his belt. He has helped many mothers achieve their pre-birth bodies back with his mommy makeover procedures and body contouring procedures. Get in touch with our team today to get your old body back.

4 Myths of Plastic Surgery

4 Myths of Plastic Surgery

Plastic surgery is a broad term used to describe any kind of cosmetic or reconstructive medical procedure performed by a specially trained surgeon. The purpose is to improve the appearance, function, and self-esteem of the patient. It may also be done to restore physical features lost due to injury or disease. In the United States, plastic surgeons are board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery which has a rigorous testing procedure. Most procedures are performed on the face, breast, head, or neck.

In recent years there has been a big increase in non-surgical procedures such as chemical peels to treat acne scarring and Botox injections to stop wrinkles caused by facial muscle contractions. Other options include hair transplants, laser skin resurfacing, and breast enhancements.

Because of the growing number of people who want to improve their appearance or help people born with birth defects without going under the knife, there are more myths regarding plastic surgery than ever before. Read on for some commonly believed plastic surgery myths debunked:

1) Plastic surgery procedures are always painful

While it is true that some plastic surgery procedures require the use of anesthesia, many do not. For example, people who want to get rid of their acne scars in order to improve their self-image can have a chemical peel done instead. This procedure uses alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) which exfoliates skin to make it smoother and more even in color. It is not painful but gives the same results as surgery. Even Botox injections are completely painless.  The wrinkles caused by facial muscle contractions (such as lines on a forehead) can be treated with botulinum toxin type A that paralyzes muscles and makes wrinkles disappear.

2) Plastic surgery is only for the rich

Plastic surgery is not expensive if you choose wisely. There are some procedures that can cost tens of thousands of dollars, but there are also procedures available for a low price. The most common mistake people make when thinking about plastic surgery is to give in to pressure and get work done that is unnecessary. It is true that the better the surgeon, the higher the price will be. But an experienced and highly skilled cosmetic surgeon will help you decide what procedure is right for you and only offer recommendations for surgery that will result in a natural-looking outcome.

3) All plastic surgeons are basically alike

This couldn’t be further from the truth. While all plastic surgeons must pass a rigorous examination to become board-certified, there are many different levels of experience. A new surgeon will have far less experience than a doctor who has been in practice for years. Consider going to someone with a proven track record for reconstructive procedures such as breast reconstruction after cancer treatment or for helping women who have a hard time breastfeeding.  Avoid the young doctor just learning the trade for shape-ups and other minor procedures.

4) Plastic surgery is for people who want to look like someone else

It might surprise you to find out that only about 10% of all plastic surgeries performed are what most people would call “cosmetic.” The rest are procedures that help people born with birth defects or recover from trauma. For example, someone who suffered an injury during a car accident and had the use of their hand lost can get a procedure called key-hole surgery to restore movement in their limb. It’s important to know what is possible when considering plastic surgery.

Conclusion

Plastic surgery is a good option if you want to improve your appearance or help someone who was born with physical defects. While it can be tempting to get work done so that you will look just like the celebrity of your choice, avoid this. You will probably end up being very unhappy with the results and will have wasted a lot of money. Instead, it is better to find a doctor who will be honest with you and help you choose the right procedure for your needs.

7 Plastic Surgery Trends That Will Be Huge in 2021

7 Plastic Surgery Trends That Will Be Huge in 2021

Last year, 2020 was normal until around mid-March. Our world completely flipped upside-down when COVID-19 paid a visit to the United States. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) suggested that hospitals and outpatient facilities limit non-essential elective surgeries during the pandemic.

Now that coronavirus cases are declining, elective surgeries are on the rise again; however, hospitals and facilities still practice safety measures. Between quarantine and stay-at-home ordinances, people have had more time alone to think about cosmetic procedures. The pandemic also warranted more virtual work environments, which caused people to look at themselves more over their webcam.

A new year brings new trends to explore. Plastic surgeries in 2021 may look a little different, though some will be repeats of previous years. Trends fade in and out, but the following 7 trends are guaranteed to be huge and in high demand this year among patients and cosmetic surgeons.

1. Browplasty (Brow Lift)

Brow lifts are one of many ways to spruce up your face. Wearing face masks has made people hyper-aware of their eyes and eyebrows. A brow lift, known as browplasty, aims to reduce wrinkles and creases that form over time across the forehead and between the eyes.

This procedure also improves the vertical frown lines that appear between the eyebrows. Browplasty raises sagging eyebrows that hang over the upper eyelids. Overall, it reorients the eyebrows into a more youthful position.

During a brow lift procedure, other surgeries can be performed, such as upper and lower eyelid lifts (blepharoplasty) and facelifts.

2. Rhinoplasty (Nose Reshaping)

Even though our noses are mostly covered under face masks in the pandemic era, they are still a prominent facial feature that people are likely to notice, especially on a Zoom video call. Rhinoplasty, or the reshaping of the nose, is a common cosmetic procedure.

Rhinoplasty is now available as a surgery or “liquid” procedure. Contrary to classic nose surgery, liquid rhinoplasty is getting more popular because it’s a liquid injection of hyaluronic acid (HA). Rather than going under the knife, you can opt for the non-surgical approach.

The HA injection works to reshape the nose in a safer way than going through surgery. Choosing the best option for you depends on the extent of your desired nose job.

3. Laser Resurfacing

Rather than trying to reverse the signs of aging, 2021 is the year people are getting into anti-aging. Younger people are taking preventative measures to make their youthfulness last longer, especially because they may be under harsh lighting on camera.

Laser resurfacing is attracting a wider audience of young people. Many people starting in their early 20s are considering laser resurfacing, which refers to removing the epidermis (the outer layer of the skin) and allowing it to grow back.

Once the laser removes the outer layer, it heats the dermis (the next layer of skin) and stimulates the collagen fibers to grow. As the epidermis heals, it comes back much smoother and tighter.

4. Facial Rejuvenation

Facial rejuvenation is a broad term for multiple ways you can revitalize your face. Types of facial rejuvenation include laser resurfacing, microdermabrasion, and facelifts. Laser resurfacing is a common type of facial rejuvenation treatment among young adults.

Similar to a chemical peel, microdermabrasion is a non-surgical procedure that renews skin tone and texture. Patients who request microdermabrasion may have sun damage, age spots, acne scarring, melasma, or other skin conditions that have left them feeling insecure. This deep exfoliation treatment will leave your face feeling as smooth as a baby’s bottom.

Facelifts were more common among aging adults in the 1970s and 1980s. Their main purpose was to tighten the skin on and around the face, including loose skin around the neck. This treatment is the least popular option in facial rejuvenation treatments now because it’s age-reversing rather than anti-aging.

5. Breast Augmentation

Breast augmentation, also called enlargement or enhancement, will continue to be a popular cosmetic surgery. Technological and surgical advancements have changed the science of breast augmentation.

These improvements have helped reduce recovery times and lessen pain. However, the procedure is still the same: the surgeon places silicone or saline implants in each breast to enhance its size and shape.

6. Non-Surgical Injectable Fillers

In general, there has been an increase in non-surgical treatments, mostly due to pain, cost, and recovery time.

Botox is a popular facial injection that temporarily smooths skin. Its popularity is due in part to its short recovery time. However, the results are not permanent, and treatment must be repeated two to three times a year.

Facial fillers are generally made of collagen, hyaluronic acid, and hydroxyapatite. Fillers reduce wrinkles, raise depression wounds from scarring, enhance lips, and restore soft tissue. Fillers are often used with Botox to lengthen the time before more treatments are needed.

7. Body Contouring

Liposuction and CoolSculpting, also known as body contouring, have been on the rise and will continue their upswing throughout 2021. During quarantine, many people gained the “quarantine 15,” which refers to a 15-pound weight gain resulting from the stay-at-home orders of COVID-19.

Liposuction uses a suction technique to remove fat from parts of the body. The most popular areas to remove fat among men and women are in the hips, thighs, upper arms, and abdomen.

CoolSculpting is a non-invasive body contouring treatment that essentially freezes and kills fat cells, causing the treated area to melt away. Following treatment, your body will naturally wipe out the dead cells in one to three months.
