Have you heard about SculpSure? It’s a brand new procedure we’re offering at Dr. Brantner’s office. As the first FDA-approved, non-surgical fat reduction procedure, it’s no secret why we’re excited about SculpSure. And you should be, too!
5 Reasons to Get Excited about SculpSure
It’s FDA-approved. Whether you’ve considered body sculpting before or you’re simply curious about this new, non-surgical body sculpting solution, you can feel comfortable knowing that SculpSure is a completely safe, FDA-approved fat reduction procedure.
It’s low pain. No scalpels, no sutures, and no needles required. SculpSure is a non-invasive laser technology that targets fat cells beneath the skin. By destabilizing these cells, we can trick your body into breaking down and eliminating stubborn fat cells. Some patients may feel mild discomfort, but for most people it’s pain-free.
It targets multiple problem areas. SculpSure has been proven to reduce fat by up to 24% in the abdomen, love handles, inner thighs, and outer thighs. If you’d like to target more than one area, let us know during your consultation so we can schedule multiple appointments.
It’s fast. A SculpSure treatment takes only 25 minutes, and there’s no downtime, so you can easily schedule a procedure on your lunch break. Over the 12 weeks following a procedure, patients see up to 24% fat reduction. Some patients may need a follow-up appointment, but for most people, it’s “one and done” fat reduction treatment.

Breast augmentations may get all the press, but breast lift surgery is the preferred breast enhancement option for many women. Unlike with a breast augmentation, a breast lift (or mastopexy) does not enlarge the breasts, but lifts and reshapes existing breast tissue to create a firmer, more youthful silhouette.
Is a Breast Lift Right for You?
Ask yourself these questions before scheduling a breast lift consultation with a plastic surgeon:
Are my breasts sagging due to age, breastfeeding, weight loss, or heredity?
Am I unhappy with the loss of elasticity in my breasts?
Am I happy with the natural size of my breasts, or would I like breast implants or a breast reduction as well as a lift?
Once you decide to get fuller, more lifted breasts, call Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. You’ll meet with Dr. Brantner to make sure you’re a good candidate for a breast lift. Then a staff member will work with you to figure out payment and scheduling.
Preparing for Breast Lift Surgery
Follow your physician’s instructions. You may think it’s silly to stop taking certain vitamins or skip meals before surgery, but every instruction Dr. Brantner gives is for your health, safety, and a better outcome of your procedure.
Stay healthy. Getting sick may cause your medical team to postpone surgery for your safety.
Stock up. You’ll need fragrance-free soap and shampoo, as well as your favorite “under the weather” foods.
Ask for help. You’ll need someone to drive you home, pick up your prescriptions, and help take care of you after your surgery.
Plan for vacation. Pretend you’ll be out of town for the next several days. Arrange for child care, pet sitters, and a clean and maintained house before you leave for the surgery center.
The morning of your surgery, wear only comfortable clothes (yes, that means skipping deodorant and hairspray). Leave the glasses, jewelry, makeup, and nail polish at home.
Want to look 10 years younger? Restore the natural lift of your breasts before summer begins.
Does your skin feel dry, rough, or wrinkled from the winter weather? Spring is the perfect time for a fresh start. Chemical peels rejuvenate the skin and reduce fine lines, restoring that fresh, smooth youthfulness that helps you meet spring with confidence.
TCA Peel
Trichloroacetic acid (TCA) is a non-toxic chemical used to treat sun damage and age spots, reduce fine lines, and restore a softer, more supple appearance to the skin. Once a technician applies the TCA peel, it penetrates the tough top layer of your skin, causing it to dry and peel away over the course of several days. This exposes a smooth, under layer of skin that’s undamaged by exposure to the elements.
Glycolic Acid
Glycolic acid peels can remove superficial skin damage by peeling away the top, damaged outer layer of the skin. Glycolic acid peels refresh the skin, often resulting in a youthful glow, and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles with minimal discomfort. Several treatments may be necessary to gain the full benefits of a glycolic acid peel.
Microdermabrasion
A gentle exfoliant technique to restore softness to the skin and reduce surface imperfections, microdermabrasion removes dead skin cells on the face to reveal the smooth, youthful skin underneath. Microdermabrasion procedures are performed by a certified technician in our office. A “lunch hour facial,” it takes between 30 minutes to an hour and requires minimal to no recovery. Skin may be reddened after microdermabrasion and it’s recommended that patients wear sunscreen and moisturize after microdermabrasion.

Many women choose to have breast enhancement surgery in the spring. Why? With weather warming up, people are starting to dream about their “summer bodies.” March and April are still far enough from summer that spring surgeries allow the body time to heal. Dr. Brantner wants to help you achieve the body of your dreams. That’s why we’re offering 15% off augmentations and mastopexies in March.
What to Know about Breast Augmentations
Breast augmentations have been the most popular plastic surgery in America for years. Augmentations allow women to achieve fuller, larger breasts. Women who want to enlarge their natural breast size or restore lost volume are good candidates for breast augmentation. Want to learn more about breast implants? We’ve written several blogs that offer in-depth looks into finding the right surgeon, deciding on implant type and scar placement, choosing the right implant size for your body, and even how to shop after getting breast implants. You can also reach out to our office to answer questions about breast augmentations.
What to Know about Breast Lifts
The mastopexy—more commonly known as breast lift surgery—is another popular breast enhancement procedure. Over time, skin loses elasticity. This often results in breasts that sag, losing their firmness and shape. Breast lift surgery removes excess skin and reshapes the breasts, restoring a more youthful appearance. This surgery can be performed alone—to lift and shape the breasts—or together with a breast augmentation to shape and lift the breasts as well as adding volume.
